My current favourites

Ash vs Evil Dead

As a fan of the Evil Dead series of movies I was thrilled to hear this one was coming out and it hasn't disappointed. True to the original movies. Full of laughs and gore.

I just love this show. It's great to see a show that takes people in online romances and brings them together and reveals who they really are. It's truly amazing just how gullible some people can be.

Dr Who

What a great comeback and some great doctors, making up for the poor performances of doctors 6, 7 and 8. (although it will be a cold day in hell before I acknowledge Paul McGann as doctor number 8) David Tennant is by far the best new doctor in the new era, portraying a very similar role to that of the greatest doctor of them all, Tom Baker. May this show continue for another 50 years.

Game of Thrones

What an awesome show. So much going on and plenty of shocks and surprises.

In this show we get to see Batman when he was a boy and how all the villains made a name for themselves. Awesome!

The Simpsons

Still great after all these years. Hard to believe it was nearly 25 years ago that I first donned that “I’m Bart Simpson, who the Hell are you?” T-shirt and got dirty looks from some of the old fuddy duddies back then.

I don’t care if you hate reality TV. I love it and Survivor is still my personal favourite. I love the conflict between the participants, which keeps this show fresh

Thirteen Reasons Why

Heartbreaking but powerful series about a teenage girl who commits suicide but leaves tapes for the people that drove her to it. If it weren't for three particular scenes I would say this is essential viewing for teenagers and should be watched and discussed at high schools.

The Walking Dead

FINALLY a TV show about zombies and staying true to George A Romero’s classic zombie tales. May this show keep going for many years! Just a pity that Rick is such a dumb ass! Oh and I’d really like to tell all the characters in that show. “They are called zombies! ZOMBIES! That’s what everyone in the world have been calling them now for decades!”

Outrageous Fortune, was great, so when the prequel to the series came along, I knew I just had to watch it and it hasn't disappointed. This one goes back in time to the 70s and then progresses to the 80s, mixing in events and issues of the time with the every day lives of the Wests, a criminal family and their accomplices. Great laughs, quirky characters.
